The satin shades (top left and bottom right) are smooth and blendable that they feel like creams. They are easy to blend and I found they resist creasing even without primer. This palette also contains two sparkle shades in the most stunning jewel tones. These are the shades that apply better with fingertips. You have to work a bit harder to build these up, but they do give the most stunning and long lasting glimmer. It doesn’t fall, and it doesn’t turn you into a glitter ball. The look of the TF palette is so luxurious and prob would satisfy someone who just wants that TF glamour…I read your post on comparing the Chanel quad to this TF one and I must say I prefer the Chanel swatches as they are less glittery and shiny…and hence a wee bit more elegant and unique. It is a slick shiny dark brown eye quad with a touch of gold underneath. Every eye quad has its own dust bag so your palette won’t be damaged when you store it, how great is that? On the inside you will find a big clear mirror with “Tom Ford” carved into it. The eye palettes I own usually don’t have great mirrors or they’re made from other materials, but the TF eye quad mirrors look really clear.
